BMI CLASSIFICATION

Did you know that a high BMI (Body Mass Index) does not always mean that a person is overweight? A high BMI can be the result of high muscle mass. A person's BMI may also be higher if a person has water retention. Therefore BMI results need to be interpreted with caution in certain situations. However, for most adults the BMI is a good way to classify weight status. (Click here to determine your BMI with Nutri-Eval™)

*Overweight & obesity classifications assume the excess weight is from fat and not muscle.
